BOARD OF

and Secretary/Treasurer Don Peppard.
Secretary/Treasurer Don Peppard presented minutes for
the board meeting on June 7, 2014 and financial reports for the period ended
July 31, 2014. George Holloway made a motion to approve the minutes as
presented. The motion was seconded by Bob Newman. There was no July meeting.
The motion carried. The treasurer’s report reflects no receipts or expenses for
June or July 2014 The year to date receipts through July 31, 2014 equals

Motion by Don Peppard to file the treasurer’s report for audit. Motion seconded

Once again the subject of fixed assets as reflected on
the balance sheet was addressed. And again the response is that we need a
“clean inventory” of all properties owned by the club. With president Bill out
of town such an inventory is not possible, since he has some of the property at
his residence.
Today’s meeting will be a presentation comparing MAC
to PC.
Acting President Doug Agee opened a discussion about
future meetings.

A discussion regarding restructuring SWIPCC’s
administrative and meeting activities was joined. Our numbers are
getting smaller with meeting attendance down to 4, 5
or 6 members. Some of the BOD feel that we should continue
in a less formal manner. Continue to maintain our bank
account and some records but meet in a less structured
manner and
perhaps dispense with the election of officers. Some thoughts to present to the
membership.
Acting President Doug suggested that if no interesting
programs were forthcoming, that we could resort to a Q and A period of
discussion.
Act g President Doug Agee adjourned the BOD meeting at

for clearing up the fixed assets portion of the balance sheet. Treasurer Don
suggested that we start with a good inventory of the non cash assets of the
club. After establishing a list of club assets, Treasurer Don will make a
memorandum entry to the general ledger which will adjust the balance sheet to
reflect a true value for club non cash assets. President Bill Roush is
vacationing out of town and Doug Agee suggested we wait until Bill’s return to
determine actual assets.

President Roush noted that the raffle prize locker is
becoming depleted. Members attending computer conferences (i.e. APCUG) usually
bring items back to be used as raffle prizes; but that source also seems to be
drying up.
